When you swim butterfly your arms are on fire
it feels like it will never end
the pain becomes real
you feel the burning sensation flows into your bones
the water makes you feel so alone
you feel like your about to seal the deal
you see yourself coming around the bend
you feel yourself tire
As you finish the race
you feel like you ran into a wall
you look at the scoreboard to see you got 1st place
you feel yourself grow tall
you love the taste
in your head you think
you are never doing that again
