Isabela is a 16-year-old girl who loves animals. She has always wanted a job that has to do with animals. Now that she is 16, she can start looking for jobs. One day she was walking down the street when she saw a paper taped to the wall that said, “Now Hiring”. They were hiring people to travel somewhere to make sure animals were safe and taken care of. She took a picture of the paper so she could call the number. When she got home, she called the number. They told her that she had to come into the company for an interview. The next day she went in for an interview. The asked her a whole bunch of questions. If, she got the job she would have to fill out paperwork. She applied for the job and would get a phone call later that day to see if she got the job.
Isabela was waiting and waiting. She paced back and forth. Finally, her phone rang. When she hung up the phone her eyes got bit and a giant smile formed on her face. “I got the job!” She screamed. She was so happy, she jumped up and down screaming. The last thing she wanted to do was fill out paperwork but if she wanted the job she would have to. Her job started in 2 days. She had to pack. She started packing right away. She could barely sleep that night because she was so excited.
When it was time to leave, she said bye to her family and went to the airport. When she got off the plane the clouds were gray, and it was raining a little bit. It was also cold and windy. She just got a gut feeling that she should get inside as quick as possible. She got to her house she was staying at and it was in the middle of the wilderness that she could monitor the animals. The rain started coming down harder. Instead of her going out to see the animals she unpacked her stuff. She thought it would be too dangerous to go out.
While she was getting ready for bed, she heard something outside. She looked out the window and she saw a tornado! She suddenly got butterflies in her stomach. She was scared. It was getting closer. She took cover underneath the bed. She could her heart beating, and the tornado was getting louder. She heard a bang. Then out of nowhere the roof tore of the house. The bed flew across the room. Isabela grabbed on to the closest thing near her which was a desk. She knew that was not going to hold her. The desk flew up to the air and that pulled her to. She flew up into the tornado. She was dizzy, she was spinning and didn’t know what to do. Finally, the tornado stopped she flew to the floor.
When she woke up, she was in a room. It was not a hospital but wasn’t sure where she was. She didn’t remember anyone and that she did see looked like aliens. She wasn’t exactly sure what aliens looked like but that’s what she pictures them to look like. Her head flew up and asked where she was. Whoever was in the room with her had a very high-pitched voice. She tried to break free, but she was stuck to the table.
Those animal people left the room but left scissors on the table next to her. “How dumb are they” Isabela thought. She grabbed the scissors and cut the rope. She ran to the nearest door. She seemed to be in a spaceship. At this point she didn’t really care, she just wanted to get out of here. She walked out of the door and was outside. She turned around and there was nothing there. No spaceship, no building, nothing, just her little house. It was weird though because it was not ruined at all. “Maybe it was just a dream” she thought. “It sure felt real though.” She continued her trip like nothing happened. She took care of animals and nothing else happened that was scary or weird. When she got back home, she told her family, “That was one weird trip.”
